Here we have this lovely SM Schoolmaster Pelham Puppet dating from the 1970’s. This puppet is in fantastic shape with no obvious flaws, damage or defects: the paintwork is in excellent shape and his clothing is clean without any damage or marks. His strings are also in tact and original. Perhaps just some very minor discolouration to his hair which you would expect on a puppet of this age. Most Schoolmasters have a black gown so it’s quite unusual to find one with this lovely burgundy coloured outfit. A genuinely exceptional example of this gorgeous character.
