For sale is a superb figure of a fancy 18th century rich lady hair dresser scene made by Nymphenburg in 1923 after a Frankenthal original hence the CT under a crown mark and the impressed shield mark used by Nymphenburg. Likely meant to be a depiction of the royal court hair dresser doing the hair of some important lady while another servant stands near by. The lady is sitting in a chair with her dog by her side, a table in front of her includes a mirror on top and some other items, a small bench behind her with a pot of coals (it looks like) and the hair dresser is standing on a ladder to be able to do the tall pointy hairstyle of the lady. Another table with a hat on it in the back with a little bag on the nicely modeled base. Really one of my favorite blanc de chine pieces they made. Th.
