What an amazing set. From the Julius King Optical Co.. Julius King is a well-known name in the optometrist circles. This is a multi-tray optician case in very nice shape. The top tray has the test lenses and the set looks complete. The bottom tray has actual lenses used in glasses. It has many other instruments that appear to be in very good condition. The wood/leather case has some tearing on the leather, but looks decent for such an old case. The case is 4 x 10.5 x 15.75. You won't find many in this condition on eBay.

Vintage Univis Light Control Testing Kit, from a local optician's retirement sale. 11 1/2" by 7" by 4 1/2" hard case covered in black leather-textured vinyl with gold lettering. Inside are a set of nine pairs of test lenses that are tinted in various greens, grays and tans. . There is a compartment for storing the electric cord. Other half has two switches on the exterior. One switch illuminates a color photo slide. I suppose you were supposed to look through the various tinted lenses until you found the ones that suit your needs. There is no apparent reason for the other switch so maybe some component is missing. There are some spots of interior paint dotting the exterior of the case.
